How to Start and Market a Podcast with Samantha Boffin
When it comes to choosing a medium to market your voice over business, one that is built on audio certainly makes sense. That’s why more and more voice actors are exploring the possibility of launching a podcast. To do it successfully, at least as a marketing tool, there are some strategic decisions that need to be made, though.
You need to identify your audience and you need to make content that’s relevant to them. Throwing up another podcast about voice over for voice actors may not be the most effective choice, depending on your end goal.
Samantha Boffin has spent her career on both sides of the mic, as a director for the BBC and as a successful voice actor. She took her unique perspective and turned in into a podcast (Talking Creative: The Art of Voice Over Directing) that is now creating work and other opportunities for her.
